Back in November 2020, Jason Lee was commissioned by the Galveston History Foundation to make photographs on the island for a book to coincide with the foundation's sesquicentennial July 2021. We drove from Los Angeles to Galveston and stayed there for about two weeks tooling around making BW 35mm and 4x5 color plates. Below are some of my behind-the-scenes photos of Jason making this work.
